The global meeting of the Child Labour Platform was held on 21-22 November 2019 in Paris.
For this year’s meeting, the International Labour Organization, as the Secretariat of the Platform, brought together businesses to address the following strategic topics:
- Approaches to assessing and monitoring child labour risks in supply chains beyond traditional audits;
- Dialogue between Government and business on joints efforts to eliminate child labour;
- The twin challenges of child labour and youth employment in supply chains;
- Cross sectoral exchange on lessons learned and updates from key sourcing countries;
