The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), in collaboration with the Permanent Missions of Dominican Republic, the Philippines, and Belarus (on behalf of the Group of Friends United against Human Trafficking); the Inter-Agency Coordination Group against Trafficking in Persons (ICAT); the International Organization for Migration (IOM); the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary General on Violence against Children; INTERPOL; Prevent All Children From Trafficking (PACT); Equality Now and the Coalition against Trafficking in Women (CATW) are co-organizing a side event on Accelerating Action on SDG16.2 to Leave No Child Behind in the Fight Against Trafficking in Persons, in the margins of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) to mark the 10th UN World Day Against Trafficking in Persons on Wednesday, 17 July 2024, 1:15 – 2:30 pm (New York time).
