Mauritania held the third Pathfinder Country Strategic Planning workshop on 4th March, 2019. The National Focal Point for Alliance 8.7 in Mauritania, Mr Hamoud Ould T'Feil from the Ministry of Labour met with representatives from national workers' organisations, civil society organisations, employers' organisations and various UN agencies.
The workshop had the purpose of presenting the situational analysis in Mauritania, introducing the Action Groups of the Alliance and reviewing the instruments in place at the national level for achieving target 8.7 including child protection units, national action plans, relevant laws and the national council for social dialogue.
