The Child Labour Task Force of the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action held a webinar on Child Labour and COVID-19 to commemorate the World Day Against Child Labour 2020.
Experts and practitioners from different organisations across the globe discussed ‘COVID-19: Protect children from child labour, now more than ever!’, the theme of the 2020 World Day Against Child Labour.
Participants heard an update based on the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action technical note on COVID-19 and Child Labour (EN, SP, FR), evidence-based resources and field experiences to prevent and respond to child labour. Subsequently, field participants were able to reflect and discuss challenges and opportunities to address child labour in the context of COVID-19.
