The fourth Laureates and Leaders for Children Summit, held under the auspices of the Provincial Government of Lumbini Province and the Government of Nepal, will take place in Nepal on 11-12 March 2024.
The Summit will focus on scaled and accelerated efforts to achieve the SDGs for children: addressing the structural causes of child labour, slavery, and trafficking; child marriage; and access to quality education. The Summit, on the theme of Development and Peace, will showcase Nepal's evolution to democracy and will issue a declaration encompassing commitments, charting a course of action to ensure that every child is safe, free, and educated.
