IOM webinar - Unveiling Research and Best Practices to End Child Trafficking

A Special Webinar for the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons

The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) invites you to the public webinar “Unveiling Research and Best Practices to End Child Trafficking” that will take place on 15 July 2024 at 2pm CEST.

This event, jointly organized with the University of Geneva Children’s Rights Academy, anticipates the World Day Against Trafficking in Person, which this year focuses on the topic "Leave No Child Behind in the Fight Against Human Trafficking”.

Register here.

According to the joint report by IOM and Harvard University “From Evidence to Action: Twenty Years of IOM Child Trafficking Data to Inform Policy and Programming” child trafficking is a multifaceted and complex phenomenon that continues to spread and evolve within and across borders.

The webinar will provide a platform for discussing the urgent need to accelerate actions to end child trafficking as well as the implementation of child protection policies and international legal framework.

Further updates on activities planned by partners for the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons on 30 July will be provided in the next update.
