To mark the World Day Against Child Labour, FAO is holding an online event to highlight innovative approaches to address child labour in agriculture, while encouraging collaboration across regions and sectors.
Most efforts to combat child labour focus on global value chains and their upper tiers. Hence, the event seeks to highlight the need to broaden this focus and include local and regional value chains, while reducing child labour in overlooked agricultural sub-sectors and subsistence farming.
Tune in to learn from experts, practitioners, and government representatives about innovative approaches to end child labour.
