Progress

  • The first National Survey on Child labour in Honduras is in progress.
     
  • The Interinstitutional Accelerated Strategic Plan of the National Commission for the Eradication of Child labour was adopted.
     
  • The manual and list of hazardous work were submitted before the National Commission for the Eradication of Child labour.
     
  • To date, there are 91 sworn-in Local Community Committees against child labour, along with operating regulations and an operating plan.
     
  • In May 2022, the certificate of compliance with child labour regulations was approved in order to recognize and distinguish companies that have adopted and apply strategies for the protection of children's rights, the prevention of child labour and the protection of adolescent workers in their work areas and supply chains. This certificate is published in the Gazette under Agreement N. STSS-3172022.
     
  • Homologation of instruments to grant the certificate of compliance to 3 cooperatives.
     
  • Reactivation of participation in the commission of the Inter-institutional Commission against Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking of Persons in Honduras (CICEST).
