On 25 October 2018 the first Pathfinder Strategy Workshop was held in Antananarivo, Madagascar. Almost 200 people attended the opening ceremony led by the Prime Minister, including representatives from all ministries, UN agencies represented in the country (amongst them FAO, IOM, UNESCO, UNICEF and UNDP), the UN Resident Coordinator and representatives from Missions. The workshop resulted in the adoption of an action plan with three high-level priority areas: 1) the fight against child labour, 2) the fight against trafficking in human beings and 3) resource mobilization and coordination.
