Launch of Workshop Series with Alliance 8.7 Supply Chain Action Group

About the workshops

The ILO is hosting virtual workshops to advance progress towards SDG target 8.7.

These sessions bring together the Supply Chain Action Group to share insights and strategies on tackling child labour, forced labour, and human trafficking in supply chains. Explore key themes like research, policy, and action below.

One

Background

Achieving progress towards SDG target 8.7 requires collaboration to share knowledge and scale up action across global and domestic supply chains. As the Secretariat of the Supply Chain Action Group, the ILO will coordinate a virtual deep dive workshop series to facilitate knowledge sharing among members of the Supply Chain Action Group on impacts and lessons learned in relation to child labour, forced labour and human trafficking in supply chains.

The workshops will be an opportunity for members of the Alliance’s Supply Chains Action Group to share information and experiences on key areas of work including research, policy, advocacy, capacity building and country level action.
