The OECD is actively working to achieve Target 8.7 in a number of areas. It has developed supply chain due diligence guidance for companies in specific sectors and it promotes the implementation of due diligence guidance through multi-stakeholder implementation platforms. They include explicit guidance on tacking child labour and forced labour in business operations and their global supply chains. Ending child labour is also part of the OECD’s inclusive growth strategy, which requires the development of social protection policies, financial supports and quality education services that offer a credible and affordable alternative to child labour.
