"Leave No Child Behind in the Fight Against Human Trafficking"
The theme urges accelerated action to end child trafficking. Numbers in UNODC's latest Global Report on Trafficking in Persons (GLOTIP) confirm a sad reality: 1 in 3 victims of human trafficking globally is a child. To date, we have not effectively addressed this issue. Urgent and comprehensive action is essential to tackle this dire situation, protect vulnerable groups from exploitation and support child victims of trafficking.
